ARTIST INFORMATION
Anuli Croon
The paintings of Anuli Croon seem to be a still from reality. Some body parts of the life-size figures in her painting fall of the canvas, and the figures appear to be looking at something mysterious that is not in the painting. Because of that, the onlooker is left wondering what secret he is left out on. Although the figures are highly formalized, they maintain a certain character because of characteristics like their posture, hands or noses. They are abstracted, but recognizable persons. Her work is exhibited regularly and is in different collections, including the art collection of the ministry of foreign affairs.
