ARTIST INFORMATION
Ton Schulten (1938) felt unsatisfied with his career in advertising because of the lack of creative freedom. In the nineties, he decided to become an artist. His goal was to develop a style that no one had shown before. And he succeeded. His works have a very characteristic and recognizable style, a colorful landscape that is built out of vertical breadths. Schulten´s career move gave him back his artistic freedom and a lot of success on top of that: The calmness and kindness of his bright mosaic landscapes put his name on the map in the Dutch art world and far beyond that. He has exhibitions in Italy, Germany, the USA, Japan, Israel and many other countries.
